New Project

I been wanting to make a late 1700's gown for several years now. I bought this material in LA last year after Costume College. I finally got around to making it - not only did I get the ensemble done, but I made my first corset! Welllll I did "make" a Ren corset years ago, it was so awful I never used it. I used JP Ryan's patterns for the corset and the Robe a l'Anglaise. I'm not super enthused with the hat, but it will work for now.

The Museum had an Open House of the various classes that the museum offers to the public. I had the wonderful opportunity to model and be painted by Ron Spears

Cain's Crossing

The first weekend of May was Cain's Crossing Ren Faire. Ashley Deering also modeled for the Nevada Museum of Art. Her portrait was presented to her at court. Hopefully it will help her find a husband, well a husband for her at fair.

Nevada Museum of Art

Below are pictures from the last two sessions at the Nevada Museum of Art. Everyone did a fantastic job. The students and teacher appreciate all the different eras and attention to detail of the ensembles. We will be starting a new session May 16th for six weeks. If anyone has a desire to model contact me. carolyn@ladycarolyn.com
